The host of newly broadcasted television show – The Kat Timpf Show and star contributor at Fox News, Katherine Timpf doesn’t need any introduction in the global news market. Her work and columns are considered as one of the best out there with columns dedicated more toward satirical perspective.

However, there are few less known facts about her that most of us wouldn’t know. Here we boil down to 5 of those quick facts about Katherine Timpf that you might have missed.

  1. Kat Timpf is more than just a reporter

Most of us know Katherine for her works and columns as a reporter. She has earned a reputation for being one of the most charismatic contributors of Fox Channel. But it’s hardly known to many about the all round skills of Miss Timpf. Being a BA graduate, she has worked as a stand up comedian for Gotham Comedy Show. She also runs her own show known as The Kat Timpf show that telecasts every Monday.

2. She is a Libertarian

If you had any doubts about the stigma she follows – then she clears it precisely in Collegian where she tells the viewers that she is a Libertarian and not conservative.

When asked about libertarianism, she was quick to send remarks about less government involvement means more freedom. She goes as far to suggest that government should allow critical decision to be made by individuals and foreign policy should be made by sensible minds.

She further pointed that being a libertarian gave enough people to hate her but also junk of supporters who admire her values about traditional republican values.

3. Her Satirical comments on Star wars lead to death threat

Timpf is known for her satirical comments on different aspects of society and government. However one statement of her on the comedy show Red Eye w/Tom Shillue didn’t sit well among its fan which led to death threat. She made fun of Star Wars fan boys for being too much excited on upcoming movie – The Force Awakens.

She even went as far as posting on Twitter criticising the nerd culture and making it clear that she doesn’t have any interest on Star Wars as she is too busy liking cool stuffs. After getting a lot of negative remarks on her review, she also posted an article where she clarified that she won’t be apologising for some harmless jokes as it’s ruining the culture.

4. She formerly worked for campus reform

Before miss Timpf became the highlight reel and source of remarks for Star Wars fan boys, she had worked for Campus Reform that discusses about the mishaps on campuses. It primarily focuses on ideas that professors are more connected to political values than being more liberal and open to “new things.”

In 2014, she represented College Reform from Fox News where she mentioned in her statement that students are scared and colleges are too politically correct.

She elaborated by saying this –

“[Y]ou can’t criticize, you can’t say anything,” she said. “And it’s totally destroying this forum of open ideas and free speech that a college is supposed to be so you can learn. What good is all this focus on diversity that these campuses have if you can’t actually hear what anybody has to say for real?”

5. She called Timpf a “HACK.”

5. She called Timpf a “HACK.”

It’s known to many that Kat Timpf is a critical about feminism. She doesn’t take it well with society driven more toward men’s morals. So in August 2015, when President Trump was on his campaign, she wrote an article on National Review where she called him a Hack.

She further told that

“Trump is not a hero to be praised,” she wrote. “Trump is not an enemy to be feared. Trump is a hack in a trucker hat.”

Particularly Trump’s comments on Megan Kelly about she being on her period when thrown hard questions at him didn’t go too well with Timpf.  And although she seems symphatic on President Trump, her opinions on National Review hasn’t changed a bit.
